Bulk Washcloths and Face Cloths for Hotels and Hospitals

A face towel is the small terry cloth kept at a basin for washing a face. Five markets buy it under five different words. All five are one cloth, made to the figures you write.

You choose the weight, the measurements, the shade, the ends and the pack count. We keep those figures on file, and weave your next order from them.

Who orders washcloths in bulk?

Sites that give a cloth to every guest, patient or client. Retailers who sell them by the pack order them too. The cloth does not change with the room. So one specification covers several parts of a building.

  • Hotels, resorts and serviced apartments, adding hotel washcloths to the shade and header already chosen for the towels.
  • Hospitals, wards and care homes, which write hospital washcloths as a line of their own rather than folding them into the bath towels.
  • Salons, barbers and treatment rooms, where a dark Pantone shade is no harder to weave here than white.
  • Commercial laundries, which order wholesale washcloths on one specification and repeat it off the file.
  • Supermarkets and big marts, listing packs of washcloths under a store label.

White, or a solid shade?

Either. The decision is yours. Both come off the same loom. Bulk white washcloths stay interchangeable across every floor.

Send a Pantone number, not a colour word. A word leaves the shade to be judged by eye. We weave against a number and keep it on your file. A third order then still lands beside the first.

If your wards or departments run colour codes, every code becomes its own line, with its own number, measurements and count.

What is the cloth called in each market?

Washcloth, face cloth, flannel, face washer or face towel. The word follows the market, not the weave.

Stock lists in the United States and Canada say washcloth. British lists say face cloth, and flannel is used there too. In Australia and New Zealand it is a face washer. We quote under whichever word your own list uses. A British line reads hotel face cloths, and an American one reads hotel washcloths.

None of the five words fixes a size. So put a length and a width beside the name. Wholesale face cloths and wholesale washcloths come off the same line. So do flannels, face washers and face towels. Square or rectangular, we cut and hem what is on the line.

Does the cloth have to match the larger towels?

No. It can share everything with them, or nothing at all. Hotel face towels can take the room shade, or stay white on a line of their own.

The 400 to 700 GSM range covers this cloth as well as the bath and hand towels. Bulk cotton washcloths can sit anywhere in that range. One weight can run across all three sizes if you want it that way.

The ends decide how the rail looks. Run the same dobby border or satin band on every size, and the bathroom looks like one set. Leave this cloth plain, and it stands on its own. Anything the table does not name is agreed against your order.

How many cloths go on the order?

The number you name. We never work it out from the towels beside it.

Your own issue and replacement records set that figure. We cannot read it off a specification. Send a count against the line and we quote the cloths at it.

We hold the count on file with the rest of the line. You can then place a repeat by naming the order.

Whatever else the room takes. The bath linen range holds the larger towels, the mats, the robes and the pool towels. One Pantone number can carry across all of them.

We quote bedding for the same rooms alongside, from the bed linen range.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can washcloths be quoted on their own, without the larger towels?

Yes. Bulk face towels and bulk face cloths are priced from their own weight, measurements, shade and count. Bath towels need not appear on the order at all.

Is a flannel or a face washer made differently from a washcloth?

No. One cloth, several words. Tell us the term your stock list uses and send a length and a width. We cut the cloth to those measurements under that name.

Does the cloth have to carry the same weight as our bath towels?

No. Each line carries one weight. This cloth can sit lower or higher in the range than the bath towels on the same order. Commercial washcloths can carry a weight of their own. We quote both against what is written on them.

Our wards and our retail packs need different pack counts. Can one order carry both?

Yes. You choose the packing line by line. The same cloth can leave in bundles on one line and in poly bags on another. Give the pieces per pack on each line.

Send a weight, a length and a width, white or a Pantone number, and the count you want to hold. Name the ends if the cloth is not plain terry. The line then comes back priced.
