Who puts hand towels on an order?

Can a hand towel be made in a dark shade?
Yes. We weave every towel in white or in one solid shade, matched to the Pantone number you send. A dark shade is no harder to weave than a pale one. Nothing is printed, so we need no artwork.
You decide which shade to run. Once the number reaches us, it stays on your specification. We match your next order back to the same number.
If the new towels must sit beside towels you already hold, post us an old one. We take the shade from the towel in our hand. That settles it better than a colour name.
What size is a hand towel?
Whatever you write on the line. A hand towel has no fixed size. It is named for where it is used. So send us the length and the width.
The name moves with the trade. Beauty salon towels and barber towels are this towel on a salon list. A gym counter calls it a gym towel. Behind a bar it is a bar towel. Hand towel is the one name that holds in every market we ship to. A buyer in Britain and a buyer in New Zealand can order from the same line.
Send a length and a width. We cut the towel to it, under whichever name your market uses.
Where does the hand towel sit against the bath towel and the face towel?
Between the two. It is smaller than the bath towel and larger than the face cloth. We weave all three as terry from 400 to 700 GSM.
Wholesale hand towels take the same weight, twist, header and hem choices as the rest of the bath linen range. One hand towel supplier then covers the basins, the salon chairs and the bar. Weight works differently here. A hand towel is small. A step up the GSM range adds less cotton than on a bath towel.
Bar and kitchen counters take kitchen linen on the same order. Ward washrooms take healthcare linen. Where your choice sits outside the table, we build it into the specification instead.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you supply bleach proof salon towels?
Bulk salon towels run in white or one solid Pantone shade, at your weight and size. Where something has to be proved rather than chosen, tell us the standard or test report your market needs, and we arrange it with your order.
Our hotel runs white and our salon runs a dark shade. Can both go on one order?
Yes. Each shade is its own line, with its own Pantone number, weight, size and quantity. We price the two separately. Nothing on the white line has to follow the dark one.
Do gym and spa towels need a different specification?
No. It is the same terry hand towel. The name comes from where the towel is used, not from how it is woven. You choose the weight, the size and the shade. Those figures separate one line from another. A line of gym towels and a line of spa towels can carry different weights.
Can the hand towel line carry a larger quantity than the bath towel line?
Yes. Quantity sits on each line on its own. The hand towels can run several times the pieces of the bath towels beside them. Send the split you want to hold, and we quote each line on its own figures.
A bulk hand towel order needs four things: the weight, the measurements, the shade and the quantity. Name the ends as well if they are not plain terry. Send a Pantone number with any dark shade.
