Healthcare Linen
Hospital Bed Sheets in Bulk for Wards, Care Homes and Laundries
Hospital bed sheets woven in bulk to your own figures, for ward beds, clinic beds and care home rooms. Hospital flat sheets, fitted sheets and pillowcases go on one order.
You choose the fit, the fabric and the colour on every line. Tell us the beds on site, how your linen is washed, and the shade each department holds. We make the sheets to those figures.

What do you tell us about a hospital bed sheet?
You choose
Every entry in the table, line by line. We do not work from a fixed range.
Fabric, weave and thread count work the same way as on any sheet we weave. The flat sheet and fitted sheet pages explain those choices in full. Anything the table leaves out goes into your own specification.
| Sheet type | Flat sheet, fitted sheet or pillowcase, each entered as its own line |
|---|---|
| Fabric | 100% cotton; polycotton 50/50, 60/40, 40/60, 65/35 or 80/20; 100% polyester microfiber |
| Thread count | T130, T144, T180, T200, T250, T300 or T400, and higher on request |
| Weave | Percale (plain), sateen, satin stripe in 1, 2 or 3 cm, or dobby |
| Colour | White, or a solid shade matched to your Pantone reference on each line |
| Size | Cut to the figures you send for the beds on site |
| Pocket depth | On fitted sheets, made to the depth you measure |
| Elastic | On fitted sheets, all round the edge or at the four corners |
| Label and packing | Your own label; poly bag, bundle or carton |
Will the sheet stay on a profiling bed?
That depends on the figures you send. A profiling bed changes shape when it is adjusted. So tell us the beds are profiling, and send the pocket depth you want.
Measure the mattress as it sits on the frame, with any protector already on it. Send the length, the width and the depth together. A shallower pocket gives the corners less to hold.
If a ward holds beds of more than one make, send the figures for each. We quote them as separate lines, not as one average size.
How do you set colour coding across departments?
By naming the shade on each line. We weave sheets in white, or in a solid shade matched to your Pantone reference. A ward, a theatre store and a day unit can each hold a colour of its own.
The coding system is yours. Put the Pantone reference against every line. We keep that reference on your specification file, so the next order matches the stock you already hold.
There is a cost. The more shades you run, the more stock each department carries on its own. A sheet in the wrong colour cannot cover a bed somewhere else.
What does your wash cycle change on the order?
The fabric blend on each line. Tell us how the hospital sheets are washed, dried and finished on your sites. Say whether you do that in house or use a contract laundry.
We then set the blend against your process, not against a figure we pick. If you are weighing cotton against a polyester share, the flat sheet page works through what each blend gives you.
Quantity is the second thing to settle. Count the sets each bed needs while others are away being washed. Order against that count, not against the bed list alone.
Does a care home order read the same as a hospital order?
Only if you write it that way. One order can carry two standards, so resident room sheets need not match the sheets on ward beds.
A room that should feel domestic may take a softer fabric, a finer thread count or a shade of its own. If every bed on site should draw from one pool of stock, put laundry life and matching first.
If you supply both kinds of site, send both standards together. We quote each line on its own figures.
Who orders hospital bed linen in bulk?
Four kinds of buyer, and each one writes its own figures. Bulk hospital sheets are quoted against the bed list on site.
- Hospitals and clinics, ordering against the bed list for their wards and treatment rooms.
- Care home and nursing home groups, fitting out resident rooms.
- Commercial laundries, carrying stock for the healthcare sites they serve.
- Medical distributors, selling the sheets on under a label of their own.
Do you need a standard or a test report?
Tell us the standard or test report your market needs, and we arrange it with your order.
Send that request with your specification while we are quoting, not after the sheets are woven. The goods and the paperwork are then prepared together.
What else goes on the ward linen order?
The rest of the bed, made to the same specification. We weave our pillowcases and duvet covers in the same fabrics, counts and shades, so one file fits out a whole bed.
The wider healthcare linen range sits beside the full bed linen range.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are hospital fitted sheets built differently from hotel fitted sheets?
We build them the same way. What changes is the figures on the order: the mattress depth of a ward bed, the shade the department holds and the blend your wash process needs.
Can flat sheets, fitted sheets and pillowcases go on one order?
Yes. Each one is a separate line, with its own fabric, size and shade. We quote the lines together on one specification.
Our linen is washed by a contract laundry. What do you need from them?
How they wash and dry the sheets, and how they finish them. We use that to set the fabric blend. It goes on your specification file, so repeat orders are made to the same brief.
Can the sheets be labelled and packed department by department?
Yes. Every line carries your own label, and you choose the packing on that line: poly bag, bundle or carton. Tell us how the stock is split when it lands, and we build the lines to arrive that way.
Send the bed figures, your wash process and the shade each department needs. We will quote the sheets against them.
